Klængshóll Lodge in Skíðadalur Valley—loosely translated into English as Raven Hill Lodge in Ski Valley—is an ideal base for groups exploring the Troll Peninsula in northern Iceland. The lodge is a historic sheep farm that has been continuously inhabited since the Viking settlement of Iceland around AD 850. It has been in the same family for centuries and remains family-run.

The property at Klængshóll consists of the Barn, the old Sheephouse, four cottages, the Bathhouse, and the Main House. It is an ideal setting for yoga retreats, group events, and meetings, as well as a romantic getaway or family holiday.

The Main House is the original farmhouse, while the four cottages have been added in recent years. The Barn, which once stored the winter’s supply of hay, has been restored and now offers a comfortable yet rustic lounge where guests can relax by the wood-burning stove. The second floor features a spacious studio, perfect for yoga or workout sessions. The Bathhouse features a sauna and a massage room, while the outdoor hot and cold tubs offer a place to relax and unwind.

Each cottage has been designed with guests’ comfort in mind and features two appartments, each with a comfortable queen-size bed in the cozy loft area, as well as a single bed, a small sitting area, and a private bathroom downstairs. All cottages offer views of the beautiful mountains and landscape surrounding the lodge.
