Discover the charm of Siglufjörður, a picturesque fishing town surrounded by dramatic mountains and stunning fjord scenery, offering a unique combination of Icelandic history, culture and outdoor adventures.
Explore the town's fascinating fishing heritage at the Herring Era Museum or experience the beauty of the fjord from the water with kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) tours offered by Sigló Sea.
Herring Era Museum admission: ISK 2,400 per person
Kayaking or SUP with Sigló Sea: ISK 66,000 per private group of up to 6 people
Larger groups require individual arrangements and pricing. Water activities depend on seasonal availability and weather conditions.
Museum admission and water activities are separate from the transport rate. A guide for the day trip is not included.

We arrange return transport for your group between Klængshóll Lodge and Akureyri, where you can explore the vibrant town centre, discover local culture, enjoy shopping or relax in the geothermal waters of Forest Lagoon.

Exploring Akureyri & Forest Lagoon
Stroll through the picturesque town centre, explore local shops and cafés, visit the beautiful Botanical Garden or unwind in the warm geothermal waters of Forest Lagoon.
Forest Lagoon admission: ISK 7,490 per person
